RAW Architects is a design studio founded by Alessandro Zanella and Simone Fantoni, based in Milan.
Guided by international vision and uncompromising attention to detail, the studio crafts timeless projects where architecture and design converge to shape distinctive spaces for visionary clients.

Alessandro Zanella is an architect with an international education and professional experience between Europe and the United States. He holds a Master’s degree from the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio and completed an exchange program at Virginia Tech, where his approach developed through a strong focus on spatial culture and construction. His work spans residential, hospitality, and public projects, integrating architectural design, technical development, and site coordination. His practice reflects a disciplined attention to context, materiality, and buildability, pursuing architecture defined by clarity, restraint, and lasting value.

Simone Fantoni is a designer with a background in fine arts, having graduated in Painting from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. After moving to Milan, he developed his practice working on high-end residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on interior architecture and bespoke furnishings. His work integrates functionality, aesthetic precision, and material awareness, with particular attention to craftsmanship and detail. His approach is guided by a tailored response to each project, pursuing spaces defined by restraint, clarity, and lasting quality.
